The EANS2018, Congress of the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies: Facts, Fiction and Future, Brussels, Belgium, 21/10/2018-25/10/2018 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) with 34 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Information on the process to convert EACCME® credit to AMA credit can be found at www.ama-assn.org/education/earn-credit-participation-international-activities.

CME credits are assigned to participants according to their presence. To collect ECMEC®s, the barcode on the name badge needs to be scanned when entering and leaving the congress.
To receive the UEMS-EACCME Certificate, it is necessary to fill in the EACCME® participant’s evaluation form (available onsite in the registration area or afterwards via a link).
The amount of ECMEC®s given on the certificate will be issued automatically on the basis of your presence.
